Short Answer: Machine Welded Seams
Long Answer: The thermowelding process fuses 2 materials together using heat instead of glue. Glued seams are all produced by hand and are subject to the glue getting ‘tired’ and letting go. Thermowelding is a much better process because it lasts indefinitely. We are currently the only BC based company offering fully thermoweld tube technology while all our competitors are still only providing hand glued.

Short Answer: Compact, rugged, affordable
Long Answer: Stryker inflatable boats come in a box that fits into almost any SUVs and lots of cars (I have personally put a 380 in both a Mini Cooper & Honda Fit). Included in every box are 2 heavy duty storage bags: 1 for your boat and 1 for the floor and accessories. With 2 bags they become entirely manageable for 1 or 2 people. Stryker Boats are versatile! You can leave them folded in your vehicle or tow them on a trailer.

Short Answer: You are supporting a local small business.
Long Answer: We are ALWAYS testing our products.. We LOVE the water! Here at Stryker we are outdoor enthusiasts which means we have a true understanding of what our products are capable of and how we can improve on them. Research and development is one of our favorite things to do. Customer feedback is important to us and when asked it is usually ‘I love what you guys do!’.

This is a question we hear A LOT! We can’t speak to what our competition does since we use our boats exclusively. We have carefully selected our materials and suppliers to provide the highest quality boat possible to our customers. Being avid boaters ourselves we have a true understanding of what it takes to have an awesome experience out on the water. Unlike some other companies simply importing standard design inflatable boats we actually use our boats every chance we get.

Stryker Inflatable Boats' seams are 100% fully Thermowelded. Thermowelding is a process where we fuse the material together using heat. The traditional ‘4 layer overlapping seam’ method is a process that uses glue that will overtime get ‘tired’ and will fail. The Stryker Thermowelding process removes this most common issue of inflatable boats.
-
In 2017 Stryker Inflatable Boats introduced aluminum transoms. Traditional inflatable boats use a three-piece plastic and wood system that will fail. Our fully welded one-piece aluminum transom will never rot, warp, or fail. The Stryker-designed aluminum transom is twice as strong as the traditional three-piece system commonly found on other inflatable boats.

All Stryker Inflatable Boats come with Scotty® bases preinstalled factory. Having these items installed factory removes the headache and expense of trying to attach these after purchase. -
The Stryker Inflatable Boat Flooring system offers a unique and extremely heavy-duty advanced stabilization system. We run a channel underneath our stringers (pieces that hold the floor together), to remove the bending, twisting, and warping that is common on other inflatable boats. This also substantially increases the rigidity of our fully built inflatable hull.
-
Our signature Stryker Shield® is an 8” wide corrugated rubber strip that completely protects the bottom of the tubes and keel. On our Stryker PRO Model, it completely wraps the entire hull. The material we add factory would cost thousands of dollars to add to another brand boat if it was even possible. This level of protection is unique to us and is offered exclusively on all of our Stryker Inflatable boats. An inflatable boat that is not properly protected with Stryker Shield® puts you and your family at risk.
